Unlike many free online typing programs, Best Typing Lessons and Test addresses a common issue faced by students: the incorrect use of fingers when typing. By prioritizing the teaching of less commonly used fingers, this app effectively breaks bad habits and establishes a strong foundation for successful typing. The unique approach of starting with the pinkies and progressing to the fingers already familiar to students has proven to be highly effective.

To facilitate the learning process, the app utilizes an innovative color-coded system. Each key is assigned a specific color that corresponds to the finger used to press it, creating a mnemonic device that aids in memorization and reinforces correct finger positioning. Pink for pinkies, red for ring fingers, mint-green for middle fingers, and purple for pointers.
